Multilateral COMENIUS – partnership 2011-2013 EMECH - Easy Mechatronics
The topic of the project submitted here is the joint production of an automated drilling station.
It is intended to develop the concept of this station, produce it and use it as a laboratory model in later lessons.
The contents of the project relating to the area of mechatronics (the integration of mechanical, electronical and information technologies in a new occupational field) can be dealt with in specific departments of the member schools.
The drilling station allows to automate individual operations that were performed manually before.
The steps of the total process are the following: at the push of a button a workpiece is clamped by a cylinder, then the drilling machine is started and moved in the direction of the feed by a second cylinder.
Teachers and students work together in international specialist teams which require an intense communication. In this way they improve their language skills, get to know different mentalities and are better able to find their way in the European labour market.
